All puppies purchased through PAWMILY are covered with a 15 day health guarantee from the day the pet is received. It also has a complete insurance that covers any eventuality during the transport to its new home.
Within seven days of delivery of your new puppy, you can take it to an authorized veterinarian for an examination. If within seven days, the veterinarian determines that the puppy became clinically ill prior to delivery; or that it has died from an injury sustained or an illness contracted prior to delivery; you have the following options:
1.-Obtain a full refund or obtain a replacement pet of equal value, with the authorized veterinarian’s certificate documenting what was previously stated. The period to obtain the refund or replacement will be up to a maximum of 60 working days from the date on which the claim was received.
2.-Keep the puppy and receive a reasonable refund for veterinary fees, the total of which does not exceed the purchase price. Once the refund of the veterinary fees is obtained, you will not be eligible for a full refund or to obtain a replacement pet of equal value.
None of these options apply when the seller has provided a health certificate issued by a veterinarian, discloses in written form at the time of sale the health problem for which the buyer later seeks to return the puppy.
If within 30 days of purchase, a licensed veterinarian determines that your puppy has a congenital or hereditary defect that will negatively affect the health of the animal or that your puppy died from a congenital or hereditary defect, you will have the same two options as stated before.
PAWMILY must be notified with the name, address and the phone number of the veterinarian who examined your dog within two days of the veterinarian’s certification regarding your dog’s illness. Failure to notify the seller within two business days will result in forfeiture of rights.
This Health Guarantee stipulates the obligations of the buyer as defined below:
Regular veterinary care is indispensable for the proper health of your puppy. It is recommended that you take your puppy for a wellness check-up by a licensed veterinarian within seven days after the delivery of your puppy.
A copy of these exam results or medical records must be provided to PAWMILY for any claim.
Wellness checks and vaccinations are required on a regular basis or as recommended by your licensed veterinarian.
In view of the fact that your puppy arrives up to date on all vaccinations, you should not vaccinate the puppy in the first ten days to avoid over-vaccination.
It is recommended that you feed the puppy using the same food shown by the breeder for a minimum of one year.
Adequate exercise must be given to keep your puppy active and healthy. Avoiding excessive exercise is especially important while your puppy is growing.
